What’s New at Sweet Melissa’s
Did You Miss Us?
We’re back at work from a much needed vacation, and Melissa and her team have been hard at work creating some new menu items. A few of them are pictured below. They’re smoking the brisket for eighteen hours and even making their own chorizo sausage!
The great news is that these, as well as the rest of our menu will now be available starting at noon up until eight pm.
We’re looking forward to a great season, and have modified our hours. We are now open Tuesday through Friday from 12 pm to 8 pm, and Saturday from 5 pm to 8 pm. We hope you’ll stop by and see us sometime for lunch!
We’re looking forward to participating in the CROW fundraiser in November, and Kevin has created a special cocktail for the month, which will be one of our featured tastes, along with Melissa’s fish stew. Come out in November and help us support this great organization!
We will also be contributing some dishes for the Wines in the Wild virtual fundraiser, also taking place on November 13.
We also wanted to give everyone a big Thank You! for all of your support and love for us and the restaurant throughout the past seven months of the pandemic. Please be assured that we appreciate it more than you know!
Going forward we will be continuing with all of the protocols we have had in place since this began. The servers will continue wearing masks and gloves, we will continue to socially distance the tables at six feet apart, and we ask that our guests wear masks when entering or traveling throughout the restaurant. Our first priority is the safety of our guests and staff. Outdoor seating is available as well.
We will continue to offer call ahead orders, take out, and no contact delivery on Sanibel for those of you craving a great meal at home, and we hope to see all of you soon!
Thank You, and stay safe!
